The coverage of employees related to medical leave is an existing provision in our industry and with our current National Health and Welfare Plan (H&W). With the COVID-19 outbreak, many members are asking what they should do in certain circumstances.
In the past week we have been nearly exclusively dealing with the response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Some of these efforts have been noticeable and others, not so much. We have issued letters in response to Carrier instructions on Conrail, CSX, NS, and SEPTA.
The situation regarding the Coronavirus, CORVID-19 is rapidly evolving, the United General Committee has been receiving the same CORVID-19 notices that have been sent to you by the railroad and we have been coordinating with Grand Lodge and some of the other General Chairmen.

I misunderstood Tommy's issue yesterday related to the hotel rooms. The solution I provided will really only be applicable to employees who are exercising seniority to vacant bulletined positions, or when the employee being displaced chooses not to work Monday after being notified he has been displaced.
